Welcome to Ecolia Forest School
Ecolia is a eco-educational project dedicated to providing children with enriching learning experiences in natural settings. We believe that children thrive when learning in nature, and our goal is to inspire a love for the outdoors and equip children with essential life skills through hands-on learning and play. We prioritize the safety and well-being of every child. We are fully certified as a Forest School practitioner and registered with The Irish Forest School Association (IFSA).
Our Approach
We combine child-led activities with a structured schedule to offer a predictable routine for those who are sensitive to changes. Our outdoor activities and movement-based learning are perfect for children who thrive on stimulation, while those who prefer a quieter, calmer setting can benefit from our small group or individual instruction.
Less Screen. more Green
Our forest school is a partner in the Green Screen Day initiative, which promotes digital detox through the principle “less screen, more green.” As children spend increasing amounts of time on digital devices, this initiative encourages healthier habits by inspiring them to step away from screens and reconnect with nature, outdoor play, and real-world interactions.
